African Junior Swimming Championship

 African Junior Championship is going to be held in Mauritius 18 -22 August 2005. The Egyptian swimming federation selected 25 (15 Boys - 10 Girls) swimmers to represent Egypt .

Almeria 2005 15th Meditranean Games

  Egypt participated with six swimmers in All Meditranean Games which was held in Spain (24 June - 3 July 2005). The swimmers are Ahmed Hussien, Aymen Khatab, Ahmed Salah, Dina Hegazi, Salma Raouf & Samiha Mubarak. Ahmed Hussein achieved 1 Silver medal & 2 Bronze Medals in 100 M Backstroke, 50 M Backstroke & 200 M Backstroke.As for Aymen & Ahmed Salah they made it to the finals with two new Egyptian records.
